The ZeXtras Backup Module

ZeXtras Backup is one of the modules of ZeXtras Suite.

It's designed to provide a backup and restore infrastructure to a ZeXtras enabled VMWare Zimbra Open Source Edition server, allowing a system administrator to backup any data and configuration on a live server with no downtimes, and to restore any previously saved data to any ZeXtras Suite-enabled server.

It takes advantage of the native RedoLog system to perform a real-time backup of ALL transactions on the server, giving the administrator a wide array of restore options. From a single-mailbox rollback to a full server recovery everything is possible, with split-second precision both on Single and Multistore environments.

[ZeXtras Suite can be installed on a Zimbra Collaboration Suite server version 6.0.7+]

This Zimlet currently integrates with Mitel's (http://mitel.com/) voice servers and system admins will have to do the following changes before using it.

Configuration details:

Unzip the zimlet

In config_template.xml:

Change allowedDomains and click2call_server values to point to your instance of the voice servers.

This Proofpoint Spam/Ham Reporting package enables training of Spam Detection products from Proofpoint for improved spam handling.

The Proofpoint Encryption Zimlet adds a new "Send Encrypted" checkbox to the "Options" menu on the ZWC AJAX compose message view. This checkbox performs the actions necessary to support sending a message via Proofpoint Encryption using the ZCS SOAP "SendMsgRequest" to add the appropriate header (X-proofpointencryptdesktop: encrypt) to the outgoing email. The Proofpoint SMTP gateway is responsible for identifying the header and performing the necessary tasks to support encryption.

Note: The "Send Securely" checkbox will only appear when the Zimlet is installed and the Zimlet is enabled for that account or Class of Service (COS) for the account. Standard product administrator account/COS controls can be used control who can use the Zimlet.

1. Allows people to translate from 54 languages to 53 other languages (~2900 combination!).

2. Automatically scales to 109 x108(~11,800 combination). Google continuously adds support for newer languages and the Zimlet is designed to automatically include them when they become available.

User-level Features:

1. 1-click in-body translation:

When a user gets an email in a language other than what the Zimbra is set to, they can now press "Translate" button to instantly translate it. Google's new api automatically figures out the from-language and the Zimlet automatically passes the to-language based on what is set in Zimbra's Preferences. The result of the translation swaps the email-body with new text.

2. "Read Side-By-Side" Button

By pressing the Read Side-By-Side button in the Translation-toolbar, user can read both original and translated emails side-by-side!!

3. From and To language menus:

If you change the language in these menus, they will automatically run a new translation.

4. Reply, Reply-all Forward Translated email:

As long as the translation widget is active or open, reply/replyAll/Forward all automatically include(prepend) the translated text to the email being composed.

PS: Version 4.0 uses Google's V2 API as Google has made this paid API starting Dec 1st. To use this, you need to specify Google API KEY.

With the connector:

Email attachments can be easily saved into relevant Huddle workspaces

• Recipients can be added to workspace teams
• Address book contacts can be invited into Huddle without leaving VMware Zimbra
• Everyone that needs to access and comment on content can access it as soon as they log into their Huddle workspace.

To install the connector, the Zimbra server administrator needs to

• Apply for a client key from Huddle - instructions are on https://login.huddle.net/docs/index.html
• Edit the second line of the configuration file to put in the name of the client key registered
• Upload the .zip file (with the edited config file) using the zimlet upload functionality on the server UI

Detailed instructions on install are included in readme.md file inside the .zip.

To use the zimlet once it is installed on the server the user needs to authenticate with their existing Huddle username and password.
