Reviews of "Sticky Notes"

would be a nice improvement if it would not only be available for e-mails, but also folders, contacts, etc.

I use this Zimlet to make notes on calls that come into my inbox from sales.  I'll click on the wav file and the sticky note.  I can put in the persons name, phone number (since sometimes it's different) and purpose of the call.  Then I call them and can make even more notes.  This Zimlet makes me more productive and GREEN.  I'm not wasting paper.

I hoped it works with shared folders because that would make thinks much easier. But unfortuatly it does not.

How hard would it be to allow mail in shared folders to be sticky noted by shared users?  My users can already see and edit sticky notes added by the folder owner but they can't originate sticky notes and the stick tag doesn't show even though the owner tagged it.

Thoughts?

I'm baffled.  I have 1 user that has no problem originating a sticky note on an email in a shared folder but others can't??? Any thoughts?

That extension would be so incredibly usefull to me, but my main issue is that I do not want to see the post it's every time i just look on the mail. My laptop is very small so the sticky note takes away lot of screen real estate and it is enoying if I just browse quickly through different mails.

A configuration parameter "Only show on Click on Sticky Notes" would be fantastic, so I know they are there (Tag), and I can few them when I want (Click).

I installed the zimlet and can create a sticky note.  How do you later view a sticky note that is created?

This zimlet currently does not work in Zimbra 7.

The sticky does not seem to go away once you click on another message.. Can this be fixed?

Hi! I'm an Italian user of Zimbra... I'm sorry for my bad english... I have a question of this zimlet... i have installed this zimlet but it isn't in the calendar... i would to add a notes on appointment but there isn't the symbol of sticky notes while in the emails i can add notes with no problem... I use Windows 7 and ZD 7.0

I wanted to be able to add a note to an email that I could use to locate later.

The note does not attach to the email unless you manually add a tag.

Any tag will do. There is no specific "StickyNote" tag.

I can search for emails with a StickyNote but cannot base my search on the contents of the note.

The note does not disappear when I highlight another email.

Doesn't work with 7.1.2 version and later (with external GAL).

I downloaded the latest stickynote.zip, undeployed the existing zimlet and deployed the new one with the flush the cache option on.

the zimlet works with email but doesn't show a button in the main toolbar with contacts and calendar.

we use zimbra 7.1.3
