... Althoug could not test it, as using Admin GUI got an error - Zimlet could not be deployed. Is there any dependencies? Using ZCS 6.0.7.1 OSS.

Downloading zimlet archive offers filename ending with ..._1.zip. Just renamed file without _1 and zimlet deployed. Great job!!! Really usefull.

There is an issue with the Gallery & is renaming the Zimlet file to com_zimbra_emailtemplates_1.zip and adding _0 or _1 to the end(instead of com_zimbra_emailtemplates.zip)

Please rename Zimlet file to com_zimbra_emailtemplates.zip

We are working on the Gallery issue.

Would be great if one could insert the template at the current cursor position or if one could at least decide if the template get inserted before or after the current text. But I guess I will just add this feature myself..

When I press Tab key in replace dialog, the focus jumps between OK and Cancel buttons. It's expected to jump to the next input. Otherwise users will have to use their mouse to click into every input.http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=48580I reported this bug two weeks ago but hasn't got any response so far.

The Zimlet performs as advertised to the extent it can be tested.  The documentation does not indicate how to use the Participants option nor does it clearly explain the process of creating templates.

When templates contain multiple fields the first field is active, but selecting Tab to move to the next field jumps out of data entry and to the OK button.  This makes it difficult to enter multiple fields.

If the documentation was firmed up and the field progression corrected, I would give this Zimlet 2 more stars.

I installed this morning Email Templates version 0.7 and nothing is happening when we click the "Set Templates Folder" button.

We tried with IE 8.0.7600.16385, Firefox 3.6.8 and Chrome 5.0.375.127 on Windows 7 32 bit and the same thing on XP Pro.Zimbra version: Release 6.0.7_GA_2473.RHEL5_20100616214455 CentOS5 FOSS edition.Any ideas?

I use Zimbra desktop (no collab. server or anything) attaching to an IMAP email account.  I have my templates in a non-local folder (at least I think its non-local).

1) sometimes it seems like the program can't find the templates folder even though I can see it.

2) if I reply to an email using a template, and then insert some text/HTML from a document in the briefcase, its fine UNTIL I try to answer another email with a template.  Then its almost like I clogged up the clipboard or something because nothing pastes.

Actually relatively minor stuff, but it makes this Zimlet a "very cool enhancement" instead of the "oh my God, this totally rocks my world, I love you, I love you, I love you" tool it could be.

I'm still in deep 'like' with it though.

This works great from the web interface. You can added it to Zimbra Desktop, but you can't set the template path.

The set templates folder problem i figured out is present when you have it set to compose in a new window. Turning that setting off will allow you to set your templates folder

the zimlet works great for email messages but i dont see the
templates button for calendar events, anyone else having this problem? any suggestions?

I installed the zimlet but i cant find the button to set the templates or the template preferences anywhere, it seems it isnt working with our current version.

My bad on the last comment, the zimplet is working perfectly on ZCS 7.1.1, its just that the documentation isnt clear enough, to set up your templates folder, create a new mail and click the arrow in the templates button, i wasnt able to find it because i didnt knew that the button only apears in the new mail window.

The template path cannot contain an accentuated letter, and raise an error when trying to use a template from that path.

When zimbra interface is in french, Inbox becomes Réception, so if template path is under Réception, the zimlet will not work.

Do you plan i a near future to support embedded image as inline attachements ?

We want to create html template that contains images , and spread that templates over every account on zimbra server.
