I tried this Zimlet, but at least in Zimbra Desktop, it blocks me from composing messages.  See this bug:

I managed to install last updated zimlet on server. Everything seems to work. Although noticed, that in Preferences > Zimlets, Label and tooltip text is still visible as variables, but this may be due to other problems in ZWC.

Usage:

I'd be great to have some additional explanation on work, as, for example, users may expect, that zimlet starts typing transliterated characters from the start of typing. I am familiar with Google Transliterate system, and it is OK for me, bet other users may be confused at the beginning.

The other - if somebody choose to transliterate text, and have to move back to original language in the same e-mail, then I managed to go back choosing English, but still there could be a switch - switch off transliteration.

Starting of ZCS 6.0.7, cutom keyboard shortcuts were removed. Is there an availability to add shortcuts to this zimlet, to make switching faster from one language to default - English?

Good suggestion, will try to add shortcuts
